Continuing
education is promoted and provided by means of study groups as follows:
a)
For faculty of the Institute and advanced candidates who have completed
the required seminars, the program provides assistance in organizing
study groups in subjects of interest.
b) For psychiatry residents at the Louisiana State Medical Center in
New Orleans and the Tulane Medical Center, Institute faculty who also
hold clinical appointments on the psychiatry faculties of one or both
of the medical centers provide weekly supervision of psychotherapy.
