Dr. Celentano is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in New Orleans . She received her Doctorate of Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in Atlanta , and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, trauma-based disorders, and borderline personality disorder. Dr. Celentano is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and established the New Orleans Center for Eating Disorders in 2002. She received advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute. She has also obtained training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and founded the DBT Psychotherapy Network in 2004. Dr. Celentano has been featured as a guest speaker on both television and radio, and she lectures both regionally and nationally. Dr. Celentano has taught at the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute and is an associate professor at Tulane University Medical School . Dr. Celentano utilizes an integrative approach to treatment.
