Tiina Allik is associate professor of Systematic Theology in the Department of Religious Studies, Loyola University New Orleans. She has been a candidate at the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute and an Affiliate Member of the American Psychoanalytic Association since 1996.

After undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she pursued graduate work, culminating in a Ph.D. in Religious Studies at Yale University. Prior to her arrival at Loyola, she taught at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Her interests and publications range over issues in philosophical and theological anthropology, epistemology, psychoanalytic theory, and feminist theory.
