Reveley,
Ted, MD Ted Reveley, MD has been a training and supervising analyst since 1991 and has been on the faculty of the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute since 1987. He is currently president-elect of the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute. He was the President of the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Society from 1995-1997. He is a member of the Board of Directors and president-elect of the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Foundation from 1999 to the present. Professionally, Dr. Reveley was President of the Louisiana Psychiatric Association from 1986-87; Medical director of the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic at Tulane Medical Center from 1988-89; was a member of the Committee on Scientific Activities of the American Psychoanalytic Association from 1986-1990; Clinical Associate Professor at L.S.U. and Tulane Medical Schools since 1989; Member of the Committee on New Training Facilities of the American Psychoanalytic Association from 1999 to the present; Chairman of the Kansas City Subcommittee from 2000 to the present; Member of the Center for Advanced Psychoanalytic Studies, Princeton, New Jersey from 1993 to the present; an invited participant in the Psychoanalytic Studies in Aspen from 1992 to the present. Dr.
Reveley has received the Bick Psychiatry Award presented by the Tulane
Medical School to the graduate demonstrating outstanding competence
in psychiatry in 1970. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric
Association since 1989 and he was awarded the Clinical Faculty Award
for Excellence in Teaching which was presented by the Tulane Psychiatry
Residents in 1989. He was included in the First Edition of The
Best Doctors in America; Southeast Region (1996-1997); "Top
Doctors," in the New Orleans Magazine in 1998; The
Best Doctors in America in 1999.
